The Logan Summer Fest was great. There was a gust of wind that almost took my tent down but we zipped up the back and it did better. The rain that was threatening for a few of the days never showed up although the maple trees were dripping sap that felt like rain.

A big thank you to all who came by to chat and take a look at the art work and another big thank you to all who purchased. It was interesting who you ran into. There was a lady who’s father was a leading chick-a-dee expert. I had painted a chick-a-dee on wood. There was a barber who was retiring and he liked the watercolor of the barber that I painted.

There was another lady who could not decide which little original watercolor floral she wanted. She loved them all. Finally she settled on a very nice one with red tulips. I told her she had made a good choice and with only a moment of hesitation, she was satisfied. Thanks also to those who dropped some change in the bottle for the MS 150 bike ride next weekend. The winner of the drawing for the “Santa Bears” giclee’ print was Diane Hugo and I will be sending her print off as soon as I can get ahold of her to get her address. Finally here is a little bit of natural art that decorated the top of my tent.
