If I go too long between putting paint to paper, my hand starts to itch and my right brain starts longing for the activity. This is a 4 1/2” by 6 1/2” watercolor that fits nicely into a 8” by 10” mat. It’s nice to do these little watercolors to keep your hand in the paint. They keep your mind free and your hands working. You can work out composition problems and practice with different colors and see how different paints make marks on paper. It’s like making sketches daily. It’s a good activity to keep you on your game.
Lovely, Sherry. And what good advice, too!
Thanks Susan.
