I went on a bike ride last Thursday. This is what I saw on the trail……
A ten year old quickly turned, blocked the whole trail and stopped, as I was about to pass on her left. This is what she saw……..
me passing on the left. Because of my great prowess as a bike rider, I missed the ten year old and hit the dirt, separating my ribs from my knee caps. Now if you think, that was frightening, this is what I saw later as I picked myself, my bike, and my dignity up and continued on the ride…….
Jacob chasing his sister all, I repeat, all over the neighborhood….”Stop Jacob. Stop it.” Happy Halloween.

And her side still hurts so much Sherry can’t even go running.
It’s a great excuse.
You are amazingly funny. I relate to all of this. I ride also and my biggest fear is not me (which I should be) but the guy or gal riding the same route I am on. I loved your caricatures of the whole situation. I hope to meet you someday. Continue to send antedotes of life…I really enjoy them. Happy Halloween to you also.
Thanks Deena. I got back on my bike Saturday. It was a beautiful ride with no mishaps.
